Precision 7710 no adapter power on Boeing 777

I have a Precision 7710 that the adapter does not power up on the newer Boeing 777's.  I've been told that the 240w adapter is the issue.  The plane power limit is apparently 95w?  Anyone know if a lesser wattage adapter would work with the Precision 7710?  Doesn't need to charge the battery, only needs to power the laptop so I can work longer than 2-3 hours on my long 13 hour flights.

You need a more portable system than this one if you plan to use it on long flights - there's no way 95W will power a Precision 7710.

Consider  buying a lightweight tablet-2 in one or a 14" or smaller travel notebook (or extra batteries, assuming they permit those on the plane).

If that were an option, I would certainly go that route however, I need the hp to run 3D modeling software hence the reason I have such a power hungry mobile workstation.

There is no way to run that system on 95W or less -- you'll need to carry along charged, spare batteries.
