Preventing / Cleaning Dirt From XPS Speaker Grate

Question

I've got an XPS 1530 and like the laptop, but the black grate where the speakers are seems to accumulate a lot of dirt & dust, and the holes are very small making it difficult to clean.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?  How do you keep yours clean?

Try cleaning with Scotch tape! Just stick some tape over them for a few seconds and gently pull off. It can get some of that extra just out without trying to stick things in the holes. Just don't use packing tape or something super sticky - you don't want to pull off paint or leave residue behind.

I use a vacuum with a soft brush on all my computers, keyboards and everything else.
