Problem connecting to an external Display

This is the [monitor] (http://store.sony.com/p/24%22-PlayStation-3D-Display-Bundle/en/p/PS398078)

The [Laptop] (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834200293)

When I first got the monitor all worked well it would display my laptop screen, i then decided to restore my laptop to factory settings since i was having some
technical problems. Updated both the integrated graphics card and my Nvida graphics card. Also updated all the drivers I could find.
When I plug the HDMI cord up to my computer my screen flashes like its getting the connection, it then allows me to mess with the settings of the monitor
through my Nvidia control panel, and through control panel display.
For whatever reason though it does not show up on my integrated graphics, or rather my integrated graphics card does not recognize that there is a display
connected. I think this is the reason nothing is showing up on the monitor, I tested different HDMI cables/ different monitors and got the same results. Even used
Other laptops, one which had the same kind of build (intel integrated, and nvida card)

Here are pictures of the control panels [here] (http://imgur.com/a/ZycHv)

All help would be appreciated Thanks
I don't have the slightest idea on how to fix this, and would doing another factory reset to be the last possible solution.
