Problem with Google Chrome/McAfee??
Hi!
I have an Inspiron 1525. I like to use Google Chrome, but am having a problem. A few days ago, while doing a few things on Google Chrome, McAfee "broke in" with a "warning" about some potential problem. I have no idea when to let things through or not, so I let McAfee block them. It did have something to do with Google Chrome, but I don't remember the original warning. (Sorry -I should have written it down, but did not expect a problem like this.) Now when I try to use Google Chrome, every time I try to go to a webpage, I get this: "Webpage is not available...might be temporarily down or may have moved permanently to a new web address. The original error message is: Error 10(net::ERR_ACCESS_DENIED): Unknown error." Even McAfee's "Help" page goes to this!! I have been using Firefox in the meantime, which is fine, but many of my bookmarks are at Google Chrome!
Can anyone help me with this?? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!
Blessings,
Elaine P.

Hi!
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. We thought we had a virus in this thing and had someone check it out, but they didn't find anything. There still seem to be some problems, and when we got it back and I fired it up, McAfee was not here! So I tried the Google Chrome and the same problem is still going on. I am going to reinstall McAfee soon - unless you can recommend something else?? I know there are free things out there but don't know enough about them or where to get them. This is getting very frustrating! I really appreciate any help you can give us! Thank you!!!
