Problem with Inspiron 3D output to Epson 3010 Projector
Hi, I just got a new Dell Inspiron 17R SE laptop & it plays 3D fine. However, when I send the signal to my Epson 3010 projector the 3D doesn't work? I tried all different options, updating drivers, etc., nothing works - any ideas? OD is W8 64b.

OK, got the solution from Nvidia support. You have to:
o make sure GPU drivers are updated to latest version (3D Vision gives a free upgrade to 3DTV Play S/W else $40)
o making the Epson projector (or your 3D TV) the main display (IMPORTANT)
o check the TV resolution is 1080p (with good refresh rate)
o make sure cyberlink powerdvd 10 is set to nvidia 3d mode, 3D is on, etc.
o Enabling 3d play in the nvidia control panel (you can test this) :-)
o Ensure 3D set on the projector, glasses on, etc.
o Load & play your 3D Blu-ray, enjoy!
Phew, that'ss a lot of stuff, but it worked for me. Now I can watch 3D on the laptop via the Nvidia glasses OR 3D on the Epson projector with its sound & glasses, great stuff. Damn shame Dell don't mention this to you!

Just noticed that Nvidia's 3DTV Play software doesn't seem to come for free with this laptop, not sure it's worth a $40 upgrade as the quality is less than that of a PS3 connected direct to the projector.
