Re: How do I contact Dell's corporate office? Please help?

Can someone please help me. i bought a Dell laptop 3 months ago i encountered a little problem so i called up dell and they made it a bigger problem. I cant play dvds in my laptop or even play them after dell tech support got done with it. The technichicians even deleted stuff out of my registry and all. Now their giving me a hard time telling me that if i want the problem fixed i have to have the software dept fix it which wants me to PAY for it to be fixed. My hard drive is also making a popping noise now. I called up the number i got for the corporate office and they still giving me a run around. Can somebody please let me kno what to do next. Mind u its a 900 dollar laptop.

You need to call the technical support line -- not the corporate offices, which are not equipped to handle technical calls.

Bear in mind that if you do that - buy Apple - that you get free support for only 90 days -- unless you buy a support/warranty upgrade.

Well good luck,  I've encountered similar problems as my laptop will not recognize ANY printers.  After hours on the phone and being charged (then refunded as they couldnt fix it)  ,they still wouldnt admit they couldnt fix it.    I am now told to call technical support again and ask for a resolution specialist or fill out a form online under unresolved problems.    Dell support is horrible,   calls always go to India where you get the biggest runaround and they do not understand what you are trying to convey. Unfortunately I am probably going to just have to write it off and go buy an Apple.     I do not expect any resolution but instead more wasted time on the phone without results and long delays.  My time is more valuable than their  inoperable computer that they are unwilling to address.
