Recovery Media Issue
Hello Dell Users,
I recently purchased DELL inspiron 3421 laptop after a week I was trying to create Recovery Disks using Dell Backup and Recovery tool but I was facing some issue.
I opened Dell Backup and Recovery tool and Clicked on Reinstall Disks then Its shows me 2 options USB or Disk I selected Disk after choosing this open its shows me total backup size of 11.95 GB and asked to me insert disk and click start button I did the same after sometime first disk got burned and then it shows me please insert second disk and click OK I did but here I am facing issue :emotion-6: it was not accepting second disk I tried with more than 3 blank DVD but its not accepting any of these because I already wasted 4 DVD.
Please help if someone knows the issue I personally feel that it is a software issue.

Hi DELL Divyank,
Refer the following link which has solution:
http://dell.to/12UsnPx
Video “How to Manually Update Windows 8”: http://dell.to/16oXPYc
Check if you have followed the correct method to create recoveru media (Windows8):

I recommend using a Flash drive for creating recovery mediah which is a fast process.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks Rajesh for reply..
As you shared 3 link with me I accessed first link and checked that this problem is due to windows 8 and in second link you asked to manually update windows 8 so I would like to say that I have already updated windows 8 and tried after that and I am still facing the same issue I also checked your last link and I m following correct procedure for creating backup media.
As you said use flash drive for creating recovery media agree it is a fast process but I don't have any flash drive of 16gb and above and I want to create backup media for future use that's why I was trying to create DVD.
So at the end I am still facing this issue please if you have more info on this share with me. Thanks!!
Regards,
Divyank

Have you uninstalled Dell Backup and Recovery and installed the latest version?
Download and Install DBAR on Windows 8
Also ensure that you are using +R DVDs. However Memorex DVDs are not supported by Dell PCs and will not work with the DBAR program.
