SSD for Dell Inspiron 15R N5110

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 model (made of early 2011). I want to know weather I can have a SSD installed on it or not?

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

We would not recommend to change the original configuration .

Thanks

You can replace the hard drive with a solid state drive - yes.  That said, the video here

will show you what you're in for to change the drive.  The mainboard has to come out of the system - this isn't exactly a service-friendly system.
