Screen will not come back after stan-by

Dear,

Since a couple of weeks were having some trouble with the Dell Latitude E5550.
When in a dockingstation and the screen goes off for stand-by or sleep it will not come back on.
You can reset your display by pressing "ctrl+shift+WIN(key)+b" after this you will hear a beep and the screen will pop-up again.

Anyone experience the same problem after getting the laptop from stnd-by/sleep?
And knowing where the problem is comming from?

Will add the service tag later today.

Do not post the tag here. That is against the rules of this public forum. What you should post is the operating system. Does the computer stay on when the screen is off or does it appear off? If it is off--no sounds or lights--it could be in Hibernation which requires a brief push of the power button. Try changing the settings in Power Options to see if that helps.

Ok will not post the servicetag, thank you for the info.

But the screen appears off, its just like the machine is stuck/hanging.

And the problem starts when we get him out of hibernation or sleep.

Workarround could be to change the power settings so it wont sleep or hibernate anymore but its no solution.
