Static/Crackling Sound - XPS 15 9550
System: XPS 15 9550, 4k Touch
I have updated to BIOS 1.1.15 (Dell Site Download) and have the latest Windows Updates.
Since I started using the device, it makes a static sound when touching the touchscreen/trackpad.
It does not do this consistently but once it happens, it will continue to do so until I reboot.

Same here, I've had my XPS 9550 for about 8 days, and have updated everything possible, as well as to the latest BIOS 1.1.19.
I notice the static/crackling sound when scrolling using my touchpad. I've also gotten the black screen issue once, which resulted in my WiFi card failing, leading me to have to reset my computer and re-install everything, including re-installing the WiFi driver using my phone via USB. Not sure if I should take the risk and exchange my device (what if I get a worse one?) or just wait for more updates. Sigh! I was hoping this would be a headache-less laptop.
