Studio 1535 loses second screen resolution settings

I'm using a Dell IN1910N monitor as a second display, but the Studio 1535 is continually losing the screen resolution settings after it sleeps/reboots.  Easily reestablished through the Control Panel, but becoming a source of irritation.  Ideas?
