Studio 1749

I had a tech support session yesterday, that left me up in the air,

I upgraded to internet explorer 9, and it is so slow compared to ie 8.  I  had researched my problem, and found 1 other post in this group with the exact same problem, the discovery that the Intel HD driver from DELL is outdated and buggy.

This technician was also very crafty and sold me a software package that "would solve all my problems" haha should've known it was all lies, but I played the fool and bought it, of course it didn't solve anything, but then the tech said at the end of the session, you shouldn't be running ie 9 instead you have to use ie 8 because that's more compatable with dell machines.  What a JOKE.

I paid big bucks for this Laptop, I expected so much more than apparently your techs can supply.

However,  I would like to know why the dell studio 1749 can't run ie 9 without software rendering of graphics which is the actual problem, I would like to know when / if the driver for the intel hd graphics is going to be upgraded, so that it can run ie 9 correctly.
