The Dell quickset application needs to be installed for the shortcut Function keys to work. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, then download the Dell Quickset application from Application section onto the system and install it.
Thanks for the really quick response. I'm sorry but I think I should have been clearer.
I have the Dell quickset application. So I know that the function keys work. Only the shortcut to disable the mousepad and enable it aren't working. So I assumed that it was regarding the mousepad driver.
I remember having the Synaptics Driver and not the Dell Touchpad driver. And on the site I can only find the Touchpad driver. So I guess if I find the right version of the driver somewhere it might work.

Hi Deepak,
I would suggest you to reinstall the Quickset driver and touchpad driver to check if it fixes the issue.
