The bios in this system is not fully ACPI compliant
Hi,
I have a Dell Inspiron 17R and have had to replace the hard Disk as the old one died. I am using the Windows disk that came with the lap top but I get a blue screen . Please see attached image.
Can someone help me get this up and running.

Which model 17 R (N7110, 7721, etc.)? And which BIOS version is the system running (A06, A09, etc.)?
Both pieces of information can be found in system setup (F2 at powerup).
