The monitor on my Dell Inspiron won't work.
The monitor for my Dell Inspiron 531s goes from a blue light to an orange light (sleep mode) when the computer is turned on and the screen remains black. I've tried another monitor with no luck. Is it a video driver and how can I fix it if I can't see anything on the screen?

Thanks for writing to us.
What windows is the system running on ?
How about in safemode? Does the system loads BIOS?
If the machine has a separate GPU you can try connecting the onboard graphics if that helps.

Thanks, but I got it working by disconnecting the power from it and waiting awhile then hooking it back up. It then recognized the monitor.
