There was an issue running diagnostics
Recently purchased a refurbished Latitude E6510; decided to run Dell System Detect, dellsystem detectlauncher downloaded and installed OK, it checked for Support Assist and gathered tests OK and began running tests, now Instead of preparing test results it says, "There was an issue running diagnostics." What should I do?

If you press F12 at boot when you see the Dell Logo does it show the option to run Dell Diagnostics

Remove and reseat your memory and run the test again. If it fails test with one module in at a time. If still fails contact Dell Support and Tell them the error you are receiving if you are still under warranty.

Pressed F12 key and ran diagnostics. Error 8123 memory integrity failed - code 2000-0173.
What should I do?

Thanks for the advice Sam,
I removed one memory module and ran diagnostics - no errors. I put the second memory module back and ran diagnostics the test failed. This time there were two failures. The first was error 0333, the second was error 0123. What do you think?
Should I call Dell, tell them what has happened and ask them if I buy two new 4GB memory sticks can I return them if they don't pass the diagnostic test. I will have up graded RAM from 4GB to 8GB.

You have a bad memory stick. You are getting a Memory Integrity Test Failure. You will need to replace it. If under Warranty ask Dell to replace the pair. Its good to install memory with matching pairs
