Thin Blue Vertical Line on Screen on Laptop Dell Inspiron 2200
Any ideas on what could cause a thin blue vertical line on side of screen? Any ideas on how to get rid of it? I have a Dell Inspiron 2200 Laptop. New to forum, thanks for any help on this!

I have the same laptop and have a thin green horizontal line on my screen. Hope you get an answer here that will help me too.

Attach an external monitor. If the line doesn't show there (chances are it will not), you have what's called a single-line fault and will need to replace the display panel.
If the fault does show on another display, you will need to replace the mainboard.
If this is truly an Inspiron 2200, and therefore 12 years old, you're better off replacing the system than repairing this one. You can easily find a newer replacement system for under $50 (used).
