Touchpad Scrolling
Hi..
I Just bought a M1330 Laptop and the first thing i noticed with it was that the touchpad scrolling does not behave like a genetic scrolling event from a normal mouse...
Manny of the programs i use dosn't detect that the mouse is scroling at all. So i have to manualy drag the scrollbars.
On my previous laptop i didnt even have to install drivers for the scrolling to work.
Now i have tryed dell's own drivers and the latest Synaptics Driver and none of them works properly.
So the question is. How can i get the touchpad scrolling to work like a normal mouse scroll? Is there some other drivers that i can use?

Control Panel>mouse>Gestures tab>Click the "Enable Scrolling" box>Click Scroll Settings next to this and set to how you want the scroll to function.

There is no "Gestures" Tab in Control Panel -> Mouse
i have tryed using dell drivers and synaptics driver
Note: Scrolling works in some appplications but not all :-(
On the synaptics driver i can select to scroll the item under the cursor or the selected item.. but it still doesent work in some application.

I've got the same problem. Scrolling does not work. I've downloaded the latest Synaptics drivers for XP. I don't have a "gestures" tab. I've seen other posts about this but I don't see any resolutions. I'm using a Latitude D420.

I'm having the same problems with the scrolling not working. However, when I go to my mouse settings, I can't click on "enable scrolling". I click on it and it doesn't check mark that it has been clicked. Any ideas?

Inspiron 1380, scrolling using touchpad is not working for me either.
When I click on 'Mouse' from 'Control Panel' I get: "unable to connect to the synaptics pointing device driver"
