Touchpad and Intel chipset driver Dell Inspiron 3542
Until this driver is installed Intel chipset driver Chipset_Driver_P79WN_WN32_10.1.1.7_A00.EXE the inspiron 3542 laptop was crushing after lid was closed and after going to sleep mode. Now the touchpad isn't working its gestures properly but the crush seems to have been resolved .
Confirmed.
Something is wrong with this driver.
This driver mentioned above if not installed in the inspiron 3542 windows 10 home it causes shut down when the lid closes and when the device goes to sleep.
When it is installed the touchpad dell driver does not perform the gestures as given in the preferences . Instead of 3 finger swipe up to bring spaces and apps it brings cortana and 3 finger swipe down it bring settings when it should give the desktop.
