Touchpad
I bought a used dell Inspiron 15 3542 ..The control board under the touchpad is missing ( I was told this before buying) a wireless mouse works fine. What I want to know is if anyone knows the part number for the missing piece or if you know somewhere where I could order the replacment.

I don't know the part number but I have had good luck buying replacement parts on eBay for lots of the laptops I have fixed. use a seller that has a lot "more that 10,000" sales, most will be glad to help you get the right part. Good Luck
