Transfer MyPC USB: Move your files, data & applications in one easy step
I am buying new dell laptop to replace 702X...... new machine with windows 10
are there any known problems with using TRANSFER with cable to move my personal files onto new machine..... so I avoid problems
Is there any documentation that I can get off internet in advance,
ie does it only move folders in document library? what about downloads?

Files and data, yes - they'll be moved.
Very few applications can be moved from one PC to another, even if the version is supported by the new OS -- you're likely to find the list of supported applications very short, and even those programs that are moved may wind up only partially functiona.
You can just as easily copy the files you want to a flash drive and avoid the cost of a "move" utility - none of which work very well .
