Typing delay on screen inspiron 1501
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 1.9ghz 512mb ram.
I recently got a virus and had to reformat. I deleted all the partitions and created a new NTFS partion and formatted it, reinstalled windows xp media center edition and then all the drivers and applications.
Computer is running okay except for one problem: When I type (directly on laptop keyboard), there is a few second delay per word as it shows up on the screen. This is really frustrating.
Any idea what is wrong? There are only 35 processes running and the largest is around 15-20000K. The CPU usage is also around 5-10% so i have no idea what could be wrong. Thanks for the help.
