Upgrading Hard Drive XPS M1530

Hi There,

I'm looking at upgrading my Samsung 320GB 5400rpm hard drive that came with my XPS M5130. I want to upgrade to a 320GB 7200rpm drive. Has anyone done this already and have any recommendations? I've heard that some 7200rpm drives can actually be slower for small files than the 5400rpm drives. Does anyone know of a really really good 7200rpm drive. I'm willing to pay more for something that has excellent performance.

Cheers

I have the Seagate Momentus 320GB 7200RPM Drive with g-shock protection - works great!

The WD Scorpio 750 and 1000 do not fit any Dell system made in recent years (about the last 10).  They won't fit the m1530 - and they're slow drives, not 7200 rpm units.

I should have mentioned - Seagate also has a 500GB 7200 RPM laptop drive.  I am about to buy one of these unless the new Western Digital 1TB or 750GB drives will fit.  The huge WD Drives might not fit in the drive bay - I am currently researching.
