Urgent!My Laptop gets hot and then shuts down

Hi, My Laptop gets hot and then shuts down.

I am using 8GB RAM and when I use my gns3 application which is a cpu intensive application, my laptop gets very hot and shuts down. It also gets black screen and sometimes blue screen. I tried to run 

diagnostics and it came up clean. Please let me know what should be done to resolve this issue. Please let me know if more information is needed.
