Video Problem with Dell Latitude E5500

Hello,

I have a problem with a Latitude E5500.  There is this application used for medical research that involves displaying heavy graphics.  Upon starting the software and viewing the first graphic, the image displays correct, but then the image becomes unresponsive and no longer refreshes.

The system has the Intel express video card with 1GB of GPU RAM.  I tested all different settings on the hardware acceleration and could not get any better results.  I know the issue is not the software as I am able to run it on a much older system, also with an Intel video card and only 64MB or GPU RAM and images display without problems.

Any help will be appreciated.
