Vostro 1400 Lid Sensor
I was wondering if anybody knows where can I find the lid sensor on my laptop, because mine isn't working and I'd like to have a look at it. I know it's not working because my laptop doesn´t do anything when I close the lid in any OS, even though I've configured it to shut down or standby (not even the screen turns off).

On most newer systems there's a magnet in the lid and the switch is built into the system board.
