Vostro 1500 hinge broken
I have a vostro 1500 and the hinge broke. The metal hinge broke and is in the closed position. Is this a difficult fix, is it something I need to send in?

It'll depend on your warranty - -if it's a mail-in, yes. If it's on-site or out of warranty, no.

If it is out of warranty, how difficult is it to fix myself?

I have the same problem. and mine is also out of warrenty.
Anybody found any solutions? any help would be highly appreciated.
