Vostro 1510 Notebook Media Buttons problem
Hi everyone.
I have a a VOSTRO 1510 Laptop with a crappy media buttons.
Here's my problem, the Media buttons above the keyboard are functioning well except for the "Stop" key.
It just lights every time. It hinders me from watching movies or play music because it just triggers on its own.
I have read other threads from other online communities and the only solution I've found that will be effective is to disconnect the media button connection manually under the case.
Is there any other way to disable these buttons without touching the hardware area? cause they really are a pain in the ass. :)
I really need a PROFESSIONAL SUGGESTIONS on this one. Thanks.

This could be a problem with the hinge assembly or the multimedia button board itself. I suggest reseating the hinge assembly and see if it resolves the problem.
