Warranty status not available
I bought an Inspiron 14 7437 on dell outlet. I placed the order on 4/2/2014 and the laptop shipped next day. When I received this laptop, I checked the warranty status online with the service tag. To my surprise I found the ship date and the warranty end date show "Not available" on the website. I thought maybe some delay on the information updating. But today when I checked the warranty status again it still shows not available. My laptop should have come with 1 Year Limited Warranty. What's wrong with my laptop?

Thanks for your reply. I bought this laptop directly from dell . So I don't need to register for my product myself.

Post on the Customer Care Board. You can also try the link on this page to have Dell scan for your tag--
http://www.dell.com/support/retail/us/en/19/ownershiptransfer/IdentifySystem
The tag might have to be transferred if your computer was refurbished.
