What is the manufacturer of my touchpad Inspiron 7359 2 in 1

Having weird issue with touchpad on new Inspiron 7359 2 in 1 laptop. Drag and drop doesn't work the way I am used to. I have other Dell laptops and they work fine. The difference here is in Device Manager, the specific vendor of the touchpad is list (Alps Synaptics) but on this laptop, it is using the generic Microsoft HID compliant driver.

It's probably Synaptics (didn't realize they'd merged with Alps, which was the only other major touchpad manufacturer I was aware of), but fyi it's becoming more common for newer models to rely solely on Windows 10's native touchpad features and customization options rather than providing their own drivers.  It looks like that's true of the 7359.  If you haven't already, go to Start > Settings > Devices > Touchpad to see if you can achieve the behavior you're used to with the options there.
