Will an mSATA card work in an Inspiron 1525?

Will an mSATA card work in an Inspiron 1525? I have an extra PCI Express slot and want to get a mSATA card. I'm looking to upgrade to a SSD and would like the option of having 2 drives in my machine.

No - the system isn't wired to support mSATA.

You can install a standard SSD in place of the optical drive, and mount the drive in an adapter that replaces the DVD drive if you wish.

With any SSD, be sure you're running Windows Vista or 7 - NOT Windows XP.
