Win 10 Update or something else?
I have an inspion 5337 with win 8.1 on it. My video started messing up and I was unable to connect to my printer. Now it says "Keep your PC on until this done. Installing update 1 of 1..." I have left the machine go for 5 hrs now. Is it updating to Win 10 or is there something else wrong?

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum,
It looks like a normal windows update which is trying to install on your system and not the Windows 10 OS.
Please try checking till the update completes, once completed restart the computer to check the functionality of the system. Let us know if any other issues.

Is it normal for it to take more than 5 hours to update?

It should not take longer time for the update, try restarting the computer to check the same and respond to us the status.
