Win10 Installation: "We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver, click Load driver."

Hello,

I have bought a laptop model XPS 13 9350. It came with preinstalled Win10 Home Edition but i need Pro.

I get into the Windows Setup screen but at custom installation it doesnt see the drive or existing partitions and i get the message "We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver, click Load driver". I wasnt able to find such a driver and i have no instalation media.

In BIOS i have disabled "Secure Boot" and enabled "Legacy Option ROMs" in order to be able to boot from a USB stick since this model, being slim, dropped the CD/DvD drive bay. I have also tried to update it from Windows and introduce the new key ive got but i get the message it can't....

Any tips will be much apreciated.

Best regards,

Adrian

It was the sata configuration on raid to blame, switched to AHCI and it worked.

Thanks for your help. I had turned off Secure Boot but that wasn't enough.

Switching the SATA mode in setup to AHCI from RAID did the trick. Thank you so much
