Windows 10 minister problems

After installing Windows10  to my computer the resolution was too low for the monitor on my laptop, and I can't change it, do I need the drivers?

Hello and good morning

Go to Control Panel and click on "programs and features"

Click on "Display"

On the top left there is an option to "Adjust Resolution." On the page there is an option: Resolution

Drop down resolution

Point your cursor on the slider and move it to the top which will set the display to factory default.

If the Resolution selector does not have the resolutions you need, then most likely the old video driver was not compatible with Win 10, so the installer replaced the old driver with a "generic" driver which works, but not real good. You will need to search out a newer driver and install it. Most Win 8 video drivers will work with Win 10. You can start first with the Dell drivers and then go to the video manufacturer's site.
