Windows/Start Key Requires FN

I have an Alienware 15 R3 laptop (The newer edition) and it's been working fine since when I got it in early December. Yesterday, a box appeared in the lower-middle section of my screen and said something similar to "Windows Key disabled". And then the windows key stopped working. After trying probably 15 different unnecessarily complicated methods to re-enable it, I discovered that the windows key will work as long as I hold down FN. How can I change it back?

I have tried the methods listed on that website, but the problem isn't that the windows key is disabled, the problem is that I apparently need to hold FN and the Windows Key at the same time in order for it to work. When using regedt32, there isn't anything called "Scancode Map" that can be deleted. I even tried creating one and then deleting it. Still nothing works.
