Wireless Utility Won't Open

I reformatted my hard drive recently. After reinstalling Windows XP Home, I inserted the Dell CD that contained the drivers for my laptop.

After installing all of the necessary drivers, I opened the wireless utility to try and connect to my wireless network and nothing happens.

Also, the WIFI LED on my laptop is not lit. I have toggled Fn F2 to make sure it is "turned on" and it is.

I have no idea what is going on. Currently I am sending this from another PC in my home. My laptop is running the Diagnostic test from the Dell driver CD, so I am not able to access that for short period of time.

Any suggstions would be AMAZING at this point. Thanks in advance!!!
