Wrong battery message

I have just completely refreshed a family Dell Vostro 3460 with a new HDD, new Windows 7, new Dell power adapter. I have run Dell's multistage diagnostics test on HDD, memory, etc., and all is fine. But I'm getting at boot a blackscreeen message saying the battery is wrong. It is not. Is there a registry fix or something for this annoyance?

Hello,

Please check the status of battery in BIOS. If it end of usable life, you will need a new battery. Also try to reseat the battery. Refer to this link http://dell.to/2s8uqGl

Kindly update the BIOS via http://dell.to/2rVuQAn. Are you using the Dell OEM battery or 3rd party?

Could you revert with the exact error you receive on boot up? Please send me a private message by clicking on my username with your service tag and contact details.
