XP Pro SP3 recovery disks for Latitude D820

Had a few problems recently with the known Nvidia chip problem which Dell Support handled excellently under my on-site contract. Have kept the XP Pro at end of SP2 to conform with Recovery Disks, saw somewhere on Google that Dell did not issue SP3 as new install option on Latitude D820 so Recovery Disks never created.

In last 24 hours had a few Blue Screens and on contacting Dell Support the analysis gave 2 options, reinstalling XP or going through to Software support on chargeable basis. My reinstall option is back to SP2 so would probably have 2 or 3 gigs of Msoft updates to load to bring up to end of SP2 (had to do this with another laptop) so thinking of upgrading to SP3 if Recovery Disks available.

So the question is - are XP Pro SP3 disks available from Dell for a Latitude D820 in UK? (is 2.1ghz Dual Core 60bg HD 1gb Ram DVDRW made in 2006).    If so, how are they obtained?

You can download SP3 from Microsoft directly:

No, those are not available - they will not send you one.  You can, however, prepare one of your own if you're wiling to use BartPE or nlite or similar.
