XPS 13 9343 High Memory Usage

Hi all,

I have a XPS 13 9343 8GB i7 bought some months ago. I've noticed that the computer uses a lot of memory in general, it doesn't get less than 60% which is about 4.8 gb.

I use it with the highest possible resolution and I plug an additional monitor. I've tried removing the second monitor and it doesn't change much.

Does anyone know the reason of this? Is it normal?

Thanks on advanced,

Pablo

Hi,

Thanks for writing to us!

Kindly check the processes under Task Manager ,this should help identify the services/process that is utilizing the memory.

Also, reboot the system is Safe Mode and check the same .Check memory utilization may be considerably low or optimal in safe mode. You can also increase virtual memory. Also remove/disable unwanted start ups.

Thanks

Robin
