What was the model of the WWAN card that you have on your system, with that I can find the correct driver.   Are you able to get online using the WIFI card or are you having problems with that as well.   If you don’t know the model of the WWAN card shoot me a private message with the service tag and express service code of your notebook and I will take a look.

Thanks Terry, the WWAN card is a Dell 5530 (KM266?) Ericsson Rev A01, I have no problem with the WIFI. My service tag is <ADMIN NOTE:Service tag removed per privacy policy>. I am begining to wonder if its a compatability problem?

I have successfully loaded R198215 Dell Wireless 5530 A00 from the website, but this just delivers the wireless manager and no driver was connected to the device recognised in the device manager. All the other drivers from the Dell site failed on loading.

Thanks Terry, my operating system is Vista home premium service pack 2.

This drive failed on installation too. Any advice? I do not have your direct email, would that help? would I be abusing the system if I posted mine?

Here is a good article on setting up Mobile Broadband, it may be of some help.

http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&docid=DSN_367554&isLegacy=true

The following link has the Vista driver

http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R220877&formatcnt=0&libid=0&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=314933

If installing the Vista driver does't help you may want to reseat the mobro card.  Completely uninstall the driver then shut the system down.  Remove the mobro card and boot the system to the bios screen.   Reset the BIOS to defaults and save changes.  Allow Windows to boot without the mobro card being attached.  Shut the system down.  Install the mobro card.  Reset the BIOS to defaults again.  See if the mobro card is detected and try installing the drivers again.

If the problem continue, replace the mobro card.

I have a Dell 5530 (ericsson KM266 card rev A00) card in my inspiron 1525 running Win7 and I just cant find the drivers for this card.

I see drivers for A01 etc but not the A00. Are they available?
