XPS 2010 ati2dvag stuck in infinite loop
Hi there,
I am currently using the following :
Dell XPS 2010 Windows XP Media Center Edition, service pack 2; ATI Radeon X1800
I have kept getting a blue screen during my game play with the following errors.(See Red)
The problem seems to be caused by the following file: ati2dvag
The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Please check your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.
STOP: 0x000000EA (0x8491BDA8, 0x861e8a88, 0xf7a7bcbc, 0x00000001)
I tried updating the Dell ATI drivers for X1800 but the errors still appears.
Pls advise me how to solve this issue. Thanks.

I am experiencing the exact same problem on my M2010 and was wondering if you had found a fix? The memory parity error always seems to follow the ati2dvag infinite loop crash. Microsoft error reporting states the memory parity error was cause by the ati2dvag file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same trouble. All was working fine until I installed Vista SP1. Then while gaming it was crashing. Then the system started crashing randomly. So I sent back to XP (wanted to anyway) and now it is constantly crashing as soon as i install the ATI drivers from Dell. I am going to try the ati omega drivers and see if it is working.
Anyone with more success with this issue?
