XPS Laptop doesn't turn on
The laptop was working. I left it for about an hour and when I came back it appeared to be off or in sleep mode. I hit the power button and nothing happened. I did notice that there were lights on the laptop that were lite which means it was getting power. I pushed and held the power button until all went out. I tried to turn it on and I heard it start then I heard nothing running at all. What can the problem be?

There can be a few issues, but lets see if we can get the simple stuff checked first and get it working.
Unplug the charger, take out the battery, Hold down the power key for 10 seconds (time cut off is usually shorter, but ten secs covers all systems) and then plug it all back in and try to turn back on.
Which XPS model are you using?
