XPS M1710 not posting to the bios
My xps m1710 recently stopped working. It will no longer boot to the bios. When I power it on, I get a hard drive led for about 2 seconds then the blu-ray drive turns on and off. It then sits there until I turn it off. The screen is not lit in any way. Though this has a supposedly faulty Nvidia GPU, I don't think this is a gnu issue, as it does not boot into windows. Could it be the CPU? Motherboard?
Here are the specs:
Dell XPS M1710
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33Ghz 4mb of Cache
2Gb of ram
80Gb 7200rpm Seagate hard drive
Any help would be appreciated- Thanks!

On the off chance your LCD went bad, attach an external monitor to verify.
