XPS m1530 new battery Fully charged but not working

Hi,

Here is my situation. I had 2 batteries when I bought my XPS m1530 2 years ago. They went bad recently and I decided to buy a new battery. So, I bought a 6 cell battery from eBay this week. It was much cheaper than that Dell sells (maybe that is why I'm having this issue :) ). It came yesterday, I opened and plugged it in. It was charged 59%. I waited till it reached "Fully charged (100%)" status. Then I unplugged the AC. The laptop shut down! :( Battery is showing healthy status in BIOS. When I press charge level button on the battery, all five bulbs turn on green. Now, I want to return it to the seller. I just wanted to know if all the eBay cheap (at the same time new) batteries are not worthy trying? DELL charges a lot for batteries, I can't afford them like that. :(

I will really appreciate any advice on this.

Thank you,

Virtual
