XPS13 2 in 1 not booting :(
Hello there.
I don't know if the previous thread was made available on this forum, so I'm staring another one just in case.
I have a XPS13 2 in 1 that I bought for my wife.
I tried to update to the latest bios and since then it is stuck on the Dell logo.
When I waited for it to boot, I heard a single "beep". From what I read it's a motherboard failure. I tried to go into diagnostic mode by pressing F12, but the blue bar is stuck and won't go any further.
However, it does go into UEFI setup. Is there anything I can do in the UEFI setup?
I have no idea what else I can do. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
I thank you in advance.

Are you saying the Bios update finished normally? There is an option in the Bios for a Bios recovery.
The beep codes are listed somewhere but was it one short beep on a continuous beep or siren?
Some times, after a Bios update, the system will want to go into the Bios setup to adjust some settings. It will just take going there and that is all.
This is a 9365 and what screen resolution and processor version?

Also I switched it on and let the logo stay there and in the end there was a beep and it turned itself off.

The bios update finished normally and it hung on the Dell logo for 10 minutes.
It was one beep.
I can go into the one time boot menu and so far I tried to go into diagnostics and supportassist and both went to the Dell screen and nothing else happened.
It's the 9365 and the HQD version with i5 CPU.

Just so you are aware what is happening: I did contact Dell support via phone and Youssef Cherraoui is the nicest person I've probably ever dealt in customer service. After going through some questions, he diagnosed it as a failed motherboard. Dell engineer will come and replace it as it is under warranty. Definitely not the ending I wanted as my wife won't be happy that her new laptop has been *** out by her husband, but good to know that they will fix it.
