audio stopped playing after pausing hd video in itunes

im having a real problem here...

i just got my studio 1555 laptop and whenever i pause some hd video on itunes and resume it, the audio stopped playing and no audio is heard not just in itunes but the whole system is quiet. to fix this, i need to remove the driver, restart, my laptop installs microsofts driver, and then install the dell software, and restart again. its a painful process, does somebody else have this problem?
