battery good or bad ?

today i just noticed the battery icon on my laptop says no battery is detected.

i tried to put the battery out and put it back in to see if it will pick it up, no luck

i tested the battery charge gauge on it and all 5 lights lit up, is that good or bad?

this is my second battery, my first battery i had to get rid of since they had the battery recall on it a couple years back.

i checked the manual and it wasn't cleare on the subject.

i have an dell inspiron 9300 laptop, about 5 years old, my warantee expired to so i cant call

they way things are right now i cant afford to get a new battery.
