cant switch to battery mode M17X R4
im new to alienware bought my m17x r4 whenever i pull the power plug the laptop shutsdown and i cant turn it on using the battery it have atleast 86% of battery life

This means either:
* The battery is bad, or
* The motherboard can't see the battery.
==> Try a known good switch in both directions (does the battery work in a known good system AND does a known good battery work in the system). Replace accordingly...
