code 43 error with webcam
Hey,
I bought a dell xps 2 months ago. Today I was using webcam and suddenly the cam shut down. This was on ubuntu. I tried it on windows 7 which is installed alongside but also no response. It seemed as if the webcam disappeared. The only thing it gave me was this 'code 43' error which basically means that the device isn't plugged in correctly. Well thats kindoff a problem considering the fact that it is a build in webcam. :s Is there a way of fixing this?

I am having the same problem on my Studio XPS 8100 desktop! So frustrating! Did you ever figure out how to fix it? I've tried the normal troubleshooting, re-installing the webcam software that came with the computer... nothing has worked... help!
