dell inspiron will n5110 i5 hangs with battery and ac /works fine with only AC
my dell makes a squeaking sound when it starts and win 7 hangs and i
have to press the caps lock or shift key .. even while i m watching a
movie it freezes and when i press the shift key it works and freezes
again .. when i remove the batteries it works fine on only AC .. is my
batteries faulty

Where do you hear the squeaking sound come from on your laptop? You mentioned that the system works fine when only the AC Adapter is connected and not on battery, do you see any error message when the battery is connected?
